About Dunamis Christian School

Who we are?

It’s All in the Name! The meaning of my School’s Name: DUNAMIS

Acts 4:33 And with great ‘POWER’ (DUNAMIS) the Apostles gave witness to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus and great grace was upon them all

Dunamis is a Greek word which means energy, power, might, great force, great ability and strength. This is the divine power. Overcoming all resistance from the forces of darkness. The Dunamis in Jesus resulted in dramatic transformations. This is the norm for the Spirit Filled and Spirit led church and school.

This will be accomplished by providing a high quality education, a safe and welcoming environment in which to develop Godly character and social well-being. Developing God given talents through educational-, life-, social- and leadership skills training. In all that we achieve, to Christ be the Glory!

Our Objective

The objective of a private school is to teach children how to live and to equip them for success. The Bible verse in Proverbs 22:6 admonishes adults to train up a child in THE WAY HE SHOULD GO.

A private school is an extension of the home in training young people. The school staff needs to work closely with parents to train the child in God’s divine destiny, purposes and will.

Attendance at this school is a privilege and not a right. The goal of this school is to train children of every ability in the highest principles of moral character, self-discipline, individual responsibility, personal integrity, good citizenship and caring for their community. This school stands without apology for high Christian standards, morals and Godly wisdom.

Biblical Principal

One of the basic reasons why parents enrol their children in a Christian school is to obtain an education grounded on moral values. This school uses Biblically based materials which include Scripture memory passages and references to God and Jesus Christ and the doctrine of salvation – all designed to help learners develop moral character, a sense of accountability, and wisdom in their lives. Standards of personal conduct, school policies and curriculum continue to build the learner’s sense of responsibility and integrity.
